No new Amex Offers dropped for a ninth consecutive day across Frequent Miler (FM) and Danny the Deal Guru (DDG). 1 2 The week's biggest story has nothing to do with new offers: American Express announced a rule change that narrows the $400/year Resy dining credit starting August 1. On the expiry front, Carnival is down to three days, Delta GC + Uber appeared on FM's Last Chance bolded list for the first time, and Fox One / FIFA World Cup expired yesterday.

Benefit alert: Resy credit rules tighten August 1
Starting August 1, 2026, only restaurants explicitly labeled as eligible on the Resy platform will trigger the Platinum card's $400/year Resy dining credit ($100 per quarter). The same restriction applies to the Amex Gold card's $120/year Resy credit. 3
The change was delivered via cardholder statement notices. Amex's language:
"Effective August 1, 2026, U.S. restaurants and other food and beverage establishments (e.g., wineries, cafes) must be indicated as eligible for the Resy Credit on the Resy website or the Resy app at the time of purchase to qualify for the benefit."
Previously, any restaurant listed on Resy generally qualified. Going forward, eligible venues will carry the label: "This venue currently qualifies for the Resy Credit, a benefit for select American Express® Card Members." 3
DDG, who reported the change on June 12, called it a devaluation: "This is a devaluation of the Resy Credit benefit." DDG's concern is structural — the new label system gives Amex the ability to narrow the eligible list at will in the future, not just at launch. No grandfathering clause, transition period, or replacement benefit was included in the notice. 3

What to do before August 1:
- Open Resy and search your regular dining spots. Eligible restaurants will carry the label described above. Any restaurant that doesn't show it will no longer trigger the credit after August 1.
- Use remaining Q2 credit (April–June quarter closes June 30) at any currently qualifying Resy restaurant — those visits still work under the old rules.
- Q3 credit (July–September) resets July 1, but only eligible restaurants will count from August 1 onward. If you plan to spend the Q3 credit in July, you have a one-month window under the current rules.

The Carnival targeted offer is the most time-sensitive Amex Offer currently tracked, with three days to go. 4 One anomaly worth noting: despite expiring Monday, this offer has not appeared in FM's Last Chance section. No fill or enrollment-closure update has been published since the June 8 extension.
Nick Reyes at FM noted when extending the offer: "Update 6/8/26: The expiration date of this offer has been extended to 6/16/26, and more people have been targeted." Past versions of this offer accepted pre-payments and deposits; onboard charges have not qualified. 4

This offer moved to FM's Last Chance section this week as a bolded entry — the first Amex Offer to appear bolded on Last Chance. (Other bolded entries on the page are MR transfer bonuses, not Amex Offers.) 5

What to do today
- Check Resy eligibility for your regulars. Open the Resy app and search for restaurants you normally use the credit at. The "eligible for the Resy Credit" label will tell you which ones survive the August 1 cutover.
